University of California, Irvine – Academic Study Abroad Program (ASAP)
University of California, Irvine (UCI) was established in 1965, located in Orange County, in Southern California, southeastern 50 miles from Los Angeles. UCI grows the fastest among University of California (UC) system due to great environment for study and surrounding by high tech companies in Orange Country known as “Silicon Valley” in South California. Except for new beautiful architecture, faculty members have strong professional background. Three UCI professors have been honored with the Nobel Prize. The number of the US National Academy of Sciences members in UCI ranked 22nd among national universities.
The UCI Division of Continuing Education encourages eligible international students to enhance their undergraduate experience by studying in ASAP for 1, 2 or 3 quarters. While in ASAP, students have the opportunity to enroll full-time (at least 12 units*) alongside matriculated UCI students in credit-bearing UCI undergraduate courses and UCI Continuing Education courses.
